Hi, my name is Trescia, but most everyone calls me Tree.
Thank you for visiting my website and blog, “Blessences.” I hope to have my website up sometime in the future, but until then, I will begin writing my blog, something I have never done before so this is a new venture.
As far back as I can remember, I have loved the Earth. As a child, I lived outdoors. I loved playing with the neighbor kids, but I also loved being close to nature. At times, I had a bit of a secret relationship with her. I never thought about why it was secret until I became an adult. Now I look back and wonder if it was because I didn’t see other children talk to trees or flowers. As a teenager, I didn’t talk with the nature beings as much as I did when I was young. The culture I grew up in, didn’t model it, or even talk about it. I think now, it probably would have made me stand out too much at a time when I was already feeling very awkward.
Luckily, as an adult, I again developed a more intimate and loving relationship with Mother Nature, however, throughout my adult years I have been somewhat selective with whom I share my experiences with as I have learned, speaking of nature spirits and the aliveness of all of nature, can make some people uncomfortable, or even bring about painful words from others.
I am a bit protective of experiences that are Sacred to me. I am fortunate though, in that throughout my life’s journey, I have been blessed to have friends through particular passages in my life who shared my great love of Mother Earth and who recognized Nature Beings and all of nature as Sacred. This has always been a gift for me.
For many years now, I have watched as the health of our Beloved Earth has declined. We have watched this same decline in our own health. As with anyone I love, my heart seeks to stop the suffering. Over the years, I have become more conscientious of the power of my words and actions in helping the Earth and all beings who suffer. Each of us has great power even if we do not feel it or believe it. If we help even one being in front of us, it has an impact on the Whole. If we look to nature with a gratitude for all the magnificent gifts we receive from her, it has an impact on the whole.
Recently, I made a new commitment to Mother Earth to share with others some of the experiences I have had with her on my life’s journey. I still hesitate as this is Sacred to me, and there are many who do not recognize nature as alive. I hope by openly sharing some of my experiences of her many Blessences, others may decide to share their experiences and maybe this will open the door for others to remember that they too have had intimacy with nature.
Maybe you found your way to my blog as you are exploring a topic I will be writing about or maybe you accidentally found your way here. For whatever reason you are here reading my blog, it is no accident. That is what life is like. Life is always communicating with us. We just need to pay attention with an open perception.
Blessences is a word I created accidentally when I was describing the Blessed Flower Essences I use. Now I use this word to describe all the Blessed Essences that are around us. All of nature is alive; food, flowers, trees, rocks, water, soil, grasses and more. There are levels or frequencies of existence and most of us cannot see these levels. Some hear them, others feel them or sense them. If you want to become more intimate with nature and her many beings, it just begins with a desire to do so. I believe we, all of humanity, are an integral part of this living whole, one in which everything, both visible and invisible, has a Spirit that is in communication with everything else.
What would life be like if we fully recognized who we are as Spiritual beings? What would life be like if we connected to the Blessed Essences that surround us? What if we understood a tree is much more than a tall plant that shades us, or gives us fruit? What if we understood that plants growing on a hillside are a part of a community of other plants and actively share and support one another or that flowers growing in the field have been around millions of years and have evolved tremendous healing gifts? What if we discovered that food has a Spirit and brings gifts to us to help us physically, mentally, spiritually and emotionally? What would our life be like if we understood that water not only gives us life, but it can carry messages to us and from us to others? There is great mystery within our beloved Mother Earth and all beings who live and dwell upon her. I believe there is no journey we can take that is as important as understanding our interconnectedness with the ALL.
My experiences are my own, just as with any relationship we have, each are unique to us. My relationship with nature has been an intimate one for most all of my life, but when I was a child, no one taught me these things. Somehow, my innate wisdom knew and understood that nature was alive. So much that I believe seems natural and familiar to me, yet, in a way, I feel I (we) have all been born with amnesia. I feel that our journey is all about waking up and remembering our interconnectedness with the Whole one experience at a time. Maybe, it is just a matter of responding to our experiences. What I hope to blog about are experiences along my path of remembering who I AM.
